Rwanda Lovin'

This is going to be a quick post because while I have internet connection sometimes at our hotel, on the university campus, and cafes, I am trying to use it as little as possible.

The four days we have spent in Kigali have been amazing so far. Teaching the class is a little bit difficult since understanding each other's accents has been hard. Everyone is so nice here though and eager to talk to us about their life. We've definitely had some experiences so far that were completely out of comfort zone, but it's all about learning.

Rwanda is so beautiful and I wish my mom could see the plants and birds here, she would love it.

Steve, our coordinator/guide here is awesome. He has been showing us around the city and makes sure we're safe on the buses and streets.

The food has been nice and I'm obsessed with the African tea and coffee here. They both have ginger in them and it's so good. I never liked tea before, but here I've been drinking at least 3 cups a day. Love it.

It's only the beginning and I know the next few weeks are going to continue to be incredible.

My first glimpse of Kigali the morning after we arrived.

The streets are so crazy and busy and I love it.
